KORN Singer's Father Is Not Losing Sleep Over Internet Threats
February 20, 2008Louis Medina of The Bakersfield Californian reports: The father of Jonathan Davis, vocalist of Bakersfield’s homegrown rock superstars KORN, is not losing sleep over Internet death threats against the band by a man who pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Sacramento Friday.
"I had no idea the kids had been under threat," Rick Davis said, but, "I sleep well at night knowing the level of security that's wrapped around KORN."
Davis, who is the director of the Kern County Board of Trade and Film Commission, called the legal, management and security teams hired by KORN "incredible."
The band is currently touring in Europe, Davis said, and he hasn't talked to his son in about two weeks.
"His not bringing it up leads me to believe that they felt their security team were doing their job," Davis said.
